The Johannesburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry in conjunction with Whitehouse & Associates will offer an insight into business opportunities offered by the development corridors at a half-day seminar scheduled for July 15.
“Development Corridors are becoming a reality across much of sub-Saharan Africa and are changing the way companies and countries are doing business in the region. Anchor projects, infrastructure requirements, ancillary opportunities and shifting regulatory and operating demands are requiring a more focused and nuanced approach to many of these areas,” according to the organisers.
“Three of these corridors - Lobito, Nacala and LAPSSET - offer an opportunity for companies wanting to expand into the broader African region through the development of new business focused on mining, oil and gas, agriculture and the built environment.”
The event will be held at JCC House in Milpark. For further information email nqobile@jcci.co.za
