Delays continue to bedevil transport efficiency

“Where we are situated at Bayhead the weighbridges waste a lot of time, and when we’ve
got past those queues there
are delays getting in and
out of the Durban terminal.
“There’s been no improvement there, and in fact it’s got a lot worse. And it’s a problem that’s been festering for the past three years.”
Reddy Cargo Services’ Bayhead facility includes a 2 000 m2 warehouse, with a similar facility at City Deep in Johannesburg.
