Customers get online access to service contracts

THE SHIPPING line MOL, in a joint-exercise with the US-based logistics portal GT Nexus, has devised a system which enables customers instant on-line access to their service contracts. This, said a line head office spokesman, enables customers to see up-to-the-minute rates, obtained directly from the ocean carrier’s global price management platform. The service is currently available to MOL’s North American customers and will be rolled out to other regions early in 2007.
