After a two-year bedding-in
and marketing programme,
customs-licensed container
depot specialists, CHC
Resources, has just officially
launched its national chain
of warehouse depots to the
industry.
The company specialises in
warehousing, distribution and
consolidated cargo, offering
bonded stores, SOS stores and
food grade warehousing, with
full-scale premises in Durban,
Johannesburg, Cape Town and
Port Elizabeth.
In Durban, the company
is based in Prospecton where
the 30 000-sqm premises have
just undergone a R9-million
renovation.
In Johannesburg, its 25 000-
sqm warehouse facility is in
Pomona, and in Cape Town,
the 5 000-sqm premises are
in Paarden Eiland. As a result
of growth, CHC is looking
to upgrade this facility to a
14 000-sqm warehouse in
Montague Gardens.
In a recent move, the
company successfully
expanded its operation to Port
Elizabeth, operating from a
5 000-sqm warehouse in Algoa
Bay.
Said CHC’s Dianne
Cockcroft, “We believe that
our success is due to the huge
investment made not just in
infrastructure, security and IT
systems, but also in people.”
