The Road Freight
Association (RFA) has
yet to decide if it will
take legal action against
the government ahead
of the implementation
of e-tolls in Gauteng on
April 30, as it remains
extremely concerned
about the situation.
According to RFA
spokesman Gavin Kelly,
they are still discussing
the merits of the case.
“We have yet to decide
over which route we will
follow if legal action is
taken,” he told FTW
last week.
According to Kelly,
major concerns around
the toll system still have
to be addressed ahead
of the April 30 deadline.
“I don’t believe the
government is ready to
implement the tolls.”
