Container Services gets new GM

JUST APPOINTED g.m. of Container ServicesÕ reefer container maintenance and storage depot in Cape Town is Imtiaz Mahomed Ally, currently operations manager for the depot and previously equipment manager for Safmarine. In January he succeeds Roy Parker who will be retained as consultant, with special responsibility for advising on further depot establishment opportunities in other Southern African locations. The depot operation - a subsidiary of SATI (Southern Africa Transport Investments) - has exceeded expectations since its opening in March, according to management. It is to be expanded by a further 10 000-15 000 square metres early next year.
