'Complete singe platform meets consolidators' needs'

As buyers’ requirements constantly change, consolidators must evolve and adjust to meet them, according to Moshe Zulberg, training and marketing manager of freight systems specialists, Compu- Clearing. “The implementation of a well-developed and up-todate information technology (IT) system can make a major difference in avoiding delays and expenses,” he told FTW, “as well as ensuring efficient planning and organising of all stages of the shipment.” And consolidators have system needs that go far beyond the demands of the standard clearing agent. “Consolidators require multi modal systems,” said Zulberg, “which are compatible with their local ports authority and customs offices.
