CMA CGM has introduced a new weekly service calling on Beira and Nacala, which links into the line’s global networks to improve connectivity for exporters from Europe and North America, while at the same time opening up new opportunities for Mozambican companies. The NOURA 2 service, which is dedicated to the Indian Ocean market, offers fast transit times between Beira and Nacala for both exports and imports, according to the company. NOURA 2 is a weekly service with a fleet of five 2 200-TEU vessels operated by CMA CGM. It offers a direct link to Beira from UAE ports in 12 days, with transit from the Indian West Coast in 22 days, according to CMA CGM.
