Three Chinese companies – COSCO Pacific, China Merchants Holdings International (CMHI) and CIC Capital Corporation – have formed a joint venture to acquire a 64.5% stake in Turkish investment holding company, Fina Liman.
The company’s only asset is its investment in Kumport which owns and operates Kumport Terminal, a container terminal in Turkey’s Ambarli Port Complex on the northwest coast of the Marmara Sea.
The transaction is subject to a number of conditions, including approval from the Turkish Competition Board.
