Global schedule reliability is continuing its upward trajectory, improving by 6.6 percentage points month-on-month (m-o-m) in October, posting a score of 52.0%.
There’s also positive news on the average delay of late vessel arrivals, which has been improving consistently since the start of the year. In October, it dropped by another -0.31 days m-o-m to 5.56 days, which means the average delay is now consistently below the six-day mark and is closer to the level in 2020 rather than 2021.
These are the highlights of maritime consultancy Sea-Intelligence’s latest Global Liner Performance report which covers schedule reliability across 34 different trade lanes and 60+ carriers.
In terms of individual carrier scores, Maersk once again led the pack, with MSC, CMA CGM and Hamburg Süd vying for the remaining top spots.
