CANADA’s Vancouver Port Authority says that the backlog of containers, piled up as a result of the six-week-long container truckers’ strike, has begun to clear. A spokesman for the Vancouver Port Authority told the Shipping Gazette that the backlog of 25,000 containers would be cleared in one to five weeks, depending on the terminals.
