US planemaker, Boeing, has come out publically in favour of passenger airline customers slapping a ban on flying bulk shipments of lithium-ion batteries, “until safer methods of packaging and transport are established and implemented”.
In this, it said, it was in formal agreement with the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO).
