Bananas over cocaine

A worker at a Tesco store in the UK found more than he bargained for when he opened a box of bananas recently.

According to media reports, cocaine worth more than £1million was found concealed in the box in five 1kg bags.

Red tape differentiated the box from the rest, probably to help the criminals recognise it.
The stash would have a street value of up to £1.25million.

London’s Daily Mirror reported that most of the supermarket chain’s bananas were imported from Cost Rica, which is notorious for drug smuggling.
