BA and Virgin battle for extra piece of SA action

AS BRITAIN and South Africa prepare to hold bilateral talks later this month with a view to expanding air traffic slots, airlines on the route are already queuing up for extra flights.
British Airways and Virgin Atlantic have both signalled their hopes for extra frequencies. According to Reuters, Britain’s aviation regulator will decide next month how 21 additional direct services between the two countries will be distributed.
