APL Austria to head for Durban for repairs

The APL Austria.

The APL Austria is expected to be soon setting sail from the Port of Ngqura where she has been berthed after SA firefighters extinguished a major container fire she suffered off the SA coast.

Her destination is Durban where repairs are due to be carried out. The ship is due to arrive in Durban on March 21.

Registered in Liberia, the 72 807-deadweight (dwt) container ship, with a capacity of 6 035 TEUs, was built in 2007.
