THE TRANSPORT Education and Training Authority (TETA) has been given another five-year mandate which enables it to facilitate skills development in the transport sector until 2010.
Commenting on the re-certification, CEO Dr Piet Bothma attributed the success to a number of factors but highlighted the total commitment of its eight constituent chambers representing over 460 000 employees.
They are: aerospace, forwarding and clearing, freight handling, maritime, rail, road freight, road passenger and taxi.
