Angola South Line has added capacity on its Cape Town-Angola service with the introduction of a larger multi-purpose vessel, Christian D, to replace the Blue Sky which has served the route for the past 12 years. The 94.7-metre Christian D has a service speed of 12 knots which will allow for a 21-day round trip between Angola and South Africa. It has the capacity to accommodate 80 on-deck reefers with its twin on-board cranes providing combined safe lifting capacity of 75 tons for project cargo.
