THE SA shipping industry rolled up its sleeves and opened its heart to the tsunami victims, dispatching six containers to Colombo last week. It was a combined effort by Netcare 911, the Department of Foreign Affairs and the Redcross Society in SA with the help of BOHP Africa, P&ONedlloyd, RailRoad Africa, Cross Country Containers, Jas Forwarding Durban, Sapo, the NPA and Durban Customs that saw 85849 kgs of water, canned food, rice, sugar, nappies and clothing loaded onto the MOL Volta.
