AIR FRANCE Cargo and Delta Air Logistics, the cargo division of Delta Airlines, are planning a joint venture that will offer local shippers a vastly expanded range of options.
It will provide Air France Cargo with access to all of Delta's US destinations as well as 33 destinations in Latin America, Europe and Japan.
This is in addition to Air France's connecting service through its Paris-Roissy hub to destinations in Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
Prior to implementation of the plan the two airlines must file a business review letter with the US department of justice. Only once the department has completed its review and given its approval can the plan be put into operation.
