The Automotive Industry Development Centre (AIDC) will stage a workshop for all stakeholders to plan future developments to meet the sector’s export objectives. Development manager of the AIDC, Barlow Manilal, said the intention was to try to get all expectations from major players - such as the ports and IDZs - put on the table. “We need to establish what such important players see as the future and we can then outline what is possible and what is not,” he said. The workshop at Rosslyn will be held at the end of March.
