ZIMBABWE'S SHIPPERS are worried about potential confusion as a result of South Africa's customs department closing on different days over the New Year to their Beit Bridge counterparts.
Zimbabwe's commercial clearing department at the border post will be closed on December 31 and January 1, but South Africa has said it is closing on January 2 and 3 as well.
This does not make sense at all, was the comment of one agent.
Previously, the commercial customs departments of the two countries closed on the same days.
