African carrier launches services to Bahrain

Africa’s largest airline, Ethiopian Airlines, has commenced its thrice weekly service to Bahrain using the latest Boeing 737-800 Next Generation aircraft.

Ethiopian Airlines’ CEO, Tewolde GebreMariam, noted that Bahrain was an important destination as it connected the country to the Persian Gulf.

“We are glad that we have resumed our services following the growing trade, tourism and investment ties between Bahrain and Ethiopia and the continent of Africa at large,” he said.
