Sea & Air Import Controller

Global Freight Forwarder based in CBD area is looking for an individual with at least 3 years Clearing & Forwarding experience to join their Import team. Must have handled Sea & Air C&F shipments. In-depth knowledge of Sea Freight with some knowledge of Air Freight. Knowledge of General Cargo. Energetic, go-getter who can be part of this young, dynamic team, someone who can fit into the culture, with growth potential. Duties will include: Track and trace shipments, liaise with clients/customers/shipping lines, registration of files, compile status reports & follow through the entire shipment process. Matric with an NQF 3 of NQF5 qualification in Forwarding & Clearing would help. Will make use of an in-house system, similar to CargoWise. Salary highly negotiable.
