Today the company consists of the Container Shipping Line DAL Deutsche Afrika-Linien, the traditional liner services between Europe and Southern Africa, as well as the DAL Liner Service from Europe to East Africa and the Indian Ocean Islands. DAL also offers regular liner services between South African main ports to Mozambique, UAE, India, Pakistan and Mauritius. With an annual turnover of around 350 million Dollar this independent mid-sized private group of companies employs a staff of about 1,200 worldwide, large enough to serve the ever growing demands of international shipping in the new millennium.
