Zeerust depot streamlines Botswana traffic

based in Botswana KEVIN MAYHEW THE RECENT opening of a new depot in Zeerust has expanded the portfolio of Warehousing Services Botswana, specialists in logistics management and distribution in Botswana for the past 20 years. The company provides services to and from Johannesburg as well as to destinations within Botswana such as Francistown, Kasane, Maun, and Central Districts. “Our vehicles are wholly-owned and all are based in Botswana. This allows us to keep transport costs down,” says managing director Brian Bakeberg. With the opening of the new Zeerust depot loads are pre-cleared by WSB Zeerust to avoid any border delays. Vehicles are Botswana-registered which saves on permits and taxes required, he said. All the principal has to do is deliver stocks to WSB in Zeerust and the rest is taken care of and consolidated to cross-doc on larger vehicles coming through Botswana. he added.
