The co nstr uctio n
sector continues to benefit
from government spending
and the 2010 Soccer World
Cup. Added to these are
consumer demand for
shopping malls, extensive
capacity-development
programmes and the
government’s infrastructural
development programme.
While this is good news as
a whole, the industry is losing
skills and there is also the
added risk of supply-demand
imbalances.
