OVERWEIGHT CONTAINERS continue to cause problems, despite penalties levied by the lines for misdeclared weights. A recent random testing at the weighbridge in Durban found 42 boxes to be 220 tons overweight, according to Hellmann Worldwide Logistics. "Container weights will continue to be monitored by the authorities and offenders will be taken to task."
