Weighbridge requirement postponed

WHILE CUSTOMS announced on July 22 that a weighbridge certificate was necessary for all commercial vehicles exiting through the Lebombo, Groblersbridge and Skilpadshek border posts from August 1, truckers can relax. According to information from SA Revenue Service (SARS), this demand has been put on hold for the time being due to “various logistical issues within the freight industry.”
