European Container Terminal (ECT) Rotterdam celebrated its 50th anniversary by releasing a video that showcases all the milestones the terminal has reached.
Some of these milestones include being the first container terminal to be built in Rotterdam and being the world’s first automated terminal, Port Technology reports.
It also claims to be the first terminal to handle more than 150 million TEUs.
