Warning – NO transport strike

An e-mail that went out to an extensive list of transport users warning that a truckers’ strike could start tomorrow (August 27) if wage negotiations had not been settled on Monday, must have set-off quite a few alarm bells in the freight industry.

But fortunately, Gavin Kelly of the Road Freight Association (RFA) was very quick to send out his own message telling the industry that this information was utterly FALSE.

There is just no call for such half-baked false messages getting the industry in a spin for nothing.
