Warehousing company responds to growing demand

SUSTAINED DEMAND for warehousing space in Durban has seen the extension by Rohek Industrial Warehousing of its Rossburgh facilities. In May this year the company added 4 000m2 m of enclosed space to provide 30 000m2 of underroof warehousing capacity. This includes three rail sidings and containerbank space for up to 45 containers at a time, says MD Ken Dickson. “All work is done under roof which means we can continue uninterrupted by adverse weather conditions,” said Dickson. “We work 24 hours a day, Monday to Friday, with weekend and public holiday work undertaken on an overtime basis.” Established 12 years ago in Mobeni, the company rapidly outgrew its 2 500m2 warehouse and became the first industrial warehousing operation to take up space in the then PX Depot in Rossburgh.
