UPS HAS revealed plans to set up an airfreight hub in Shanghai following the signing of an operating agreement and lease contract with the Shanghai Airport Authority. Based at Pudong International Airport in Shanghai, the hub is expected to open in 2008. According to eyefortransport.com, it will link all of China via Shanghai to UPS’s international network with direct services to the Americas, Europe and Asia.
