THE ROUTE between Cape Town airport and the city is to receive a R22m upgrade. The volume of passenger and freight traffic using the road has risen substantially over the past three years, leading to delays.
The 18 month project gets underway this month. It is scheduled as an Olympic development project, which affords it priority status.
