WITH VIRTUALLY all SA’s economic figures looking rosy, employment is taking very much a second place. The latest figures from Statistics SA reveal that employment last September went up by 658 000 jobs, but unemployment still increased to 26.7% compared to 26.2% in the same month in 2004.
