Transitex records 25% airfreight growth

Transitex Mozambique has seen a 25% growth in airfreight compared to volumes in 2013, according to country manager Alexandre Franco. Through its global and local network Transitex is able to offer a door-to-door service to most destinations in Mozambique. Airfreight growth is being supported by the arrival of more international airlines. Ethiopian Airlines, Kenya Airways, KLM, SAA, Malawian Airlines, Precision Air, Air France, Qatar Airways, TAP Portugal, United Airlines and TAAG all have scheduled f lights into Maputo International. LAM, the national airline, f lies to Inhambane, Vilankulos, Lichinga, Chimoio, Quelimane, Pemba, Beira, Tete and Nampula. CAPTION More and more international airlines are flying into Mozambique.
