Trading places at Maersk

David Williams, who has
been MD of Maersk Line
in Southern Africa for a
number of years, has been
appointed to Shanghai
as the Maersk Line East
China MD.
He was replaced from
October 8 by Jonathan
Horn, who has been with
the AP Moller-Maersk
group for eight years – as
Safmarine Durban branch
manager, cluster HR
manager, and regional
executive, and has just
held the position of
Southern Africa Cluster
Top (equivalent to MD)
of Safmarine in Cape
Town. He previously
worked in mining, the oil
industry and consultancy
professional services,
including a position in
Singapore.
