Trade pact signed with Belarus

Joy Orlek BILATERAL co-operation agreements are coming thick and fast as South Africa’s foreign minister last week added Belarus to the growing list of partners with whom agreement has been reached. “Politically we are both members of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) so we have a lot in common to discuss,” Dr Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma said after the signing. One of the trade growth areas identified is the supply by Belarus companies of quality equipment for use in the agriculture and construction sectors.
