BRUCE THORESSON has been appointed regional director for Safcor Panalpina in the Eastern Cape, based in Port Elizabeth. Previously sales and marketing director based at Gauteng head office, Thoresson will continue in this capacity for the next 3-6 months until a successor is appointed. He takes over from Dieter Rothmann who has left the corporate world to pursue other interests. It’s a change of direction for Thoresson who sees tremendous growth potential in the region, particularly with the advent of Coega.
