Wednesday (January 16) saw the launch by the Bollore Group (SDV and SAEL) of a dedicated weekly freight service between OR Tambo International and Tete in Mozambique. Branded ‘Tete Air Cargo Express’, the service will offer cargo capacity of up to 6 tons, catering for all abnormal airfreight requirements. “This follows the success of our Pemba Air Cargo Express service and is in response to the high demand for cargo capacity to and from the region,” regional commercial & marketing manager for southern Africa, Jason Scully, told FTW.
