AN 8-STRONG task force has been elected to spearhead the creation of an Electronic Commerce Association of South Africa.
This follows an open meeting convened in Johannesburg recently by the SA Vans Association where the industry gave its full support to the initiative.
An interim paper will be released which can be viewed at ecasa.org.za.
Target date for the inaugural meeting of the new association is March 17, 1998.
