IGNORING ‘GREEN’ issues is not only detrimental to the environment – it’s potentially detrimental to business. In a recent survey conducted by Eyefortransport, a logistics and transport information service, 94% of supply chain professionals of high grossing, highly successful US companies rated green issues as a business priority, and nearly 60% of them responded that green issues were either important or very important to their companies’ overall strategy.
