ZacPak has put its money
where its mouth is in
support of the ‘Save the
Rhino’ campaign.
“When clearing and
forwarding company
Intraspeed approached us
late last year with a request
for warehousing space in
our Durban facility for 29
fibreglass rhinos that were
to be distributed around
the country, we knew it was
a cause in which we were
willing to become involved,”
director Peter Schmidt-
Löff ler told FTW.
The rhinos were
manufactured in Durban
and needed a home before
they were distributed
countrywide as part of
an awareness campaign
for rhino conservation.
“We kept the herd of 29
rhinos on the ramp at
our Durban facility –
deriving no profit. Four
were sent to Cape Town
and the remainder were
distributed in Durban and
Johannesburg where they
have been prominently
displayed at the likes of
King Shaka Airport.”
A division of groupage
operator CFR Freight,
ZacPak provides customslicensed
warehousing and
packaging facilities to its
clearing and forwarding
client base.
