With just under two months to go to this year’s Asian Logistics and Maritime Conference (ALMC) in Hong Kong, the organisers have assembled a heavyweight speaker line-up for the event to be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on November 20-21.
The conference brings together a wide variety of service providers and users, from manufacturers and distributors to retailers and brand owners, to discuss the latest trends and opportunities in Asia’s logistics, air cargo, maritime and supply chain management industries.
This year’s plenary sessions will cover Asian connectivity in the new global and regional economic order and the new retail revolution and its impact on logistics and supply chain management.
Among the programme highlights, a logistics forum will examine logistics technology, including artificial intelligence and blockchain applications, while a regional forum will look at belt and road opportunities.
According to Conrad Hendry, consultant to the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, a special admission rate is available for SA delegates who pay US$58 per head to attend the two-day event.
