Span-Global takes on Lykes' Angola sector

DURBAN-BASED Span-Global has just been appointed marketing agent for the SA-Angola sector of Lykes Line's monthly multipurpose service. "The service is planned to load in the last 10 days of each month at Durban and/or Cape Town," Span-Global's Brian Hawkins told FTW. "This is for Luanda discharge with any other ports on inducement." The space allocation for Luanda is 8 000 metric tons, he added, which includes a limit of 150 TEUs (twenty foot equivalent units).
