Shipshape celebrates milestone 21 years

When you have two important reasons to celebrate, have a party, said Chrissie du Barry, CE of Shipshape Software (SS). “We had a combination of a roof wetting and unveiling of our new building to our clients, along with 21 successful years in business,” she told FTW. “We wanted to celebrate with our clients and say thank you for all their support, without which we would not be where we are today.” From very humble beginnings, Shipshape has grown into a very successful company, Du Barry added, with many clients who have also come a long way with the company over the past 21 years. “Many of our clients have grown from one- and two-man businesses and are now big companies,” she said. “It is wonderful to see our clients grow and do so well – just like ourselves.” Du Barry believes that Shipshape’s success is due to its service and the support it offers its clients, as well as its very comprehensive software – which has continued to evolve and improve with each new feature added to the system. “Our system is written to meet our clients’ requirements,” she said, “which are never-ending and more demanding by the day. I believe that what makes SS such a well liked windows-based system is the fact we are able to deliver on our promises. “We go the extra mile for our clients, and plan to be around for another 21 years and more.”
