Shipping major acquires 10% stake in Belgian container terminal

French shipping line CMA CGM last week acquired a 10% equity stake in the CSP Zeebrugge Terminal in Belgium from China Shipping Company (Cosco).

“The strategic partnership between CMA CGM and Cosco Shipping Ports should foster the development of CSP Zeebrugge into a major hub port in northwest Europe,” said CMA CGM executive officer, Farid Salem.
