Sars systems maintenance warning

Freight News has learned that “systems maintenance” will be conducted by the South African Revenue Service (Sars) tomorrow, September 10, from 6pm to 8:30pm.

Sars said between these hours declaration processing and road manifest processing would be affected.

“Stakeholders are therefore urged to submit priority goods declarations (bills of entry) and road manifests by 5pm to avoid any delays.

“Customs services will be available during maintenance at land border posts should you require any assistance,” Sars added.
