Sapo gets tough on stack dates

SA PORT Operations is taking a tougher stand on staggered stack dates. Effective last Friday, Sapo will no longer allow clients flexibility unless the period includes a weekend or paid public holiday. “At Maydon Wharf we have been very flexible and accommodating in the past, but in future stacks are to be nominated for a straight 72 hours excluding weekends and public holidays,” a port spokesman told FTW.
