THE SA Maritime Safety Authority has appointed Carl Briesch as the acting CEO. Briesch previously headed up the organisation’s legal department, helping to draft maritime legislation and ensuring compliance. He is involved in the review process for Tonnage Tax and Mortgage Ranking in the country.
