Saldanha notches up quality award

THE PORT of Saldanha has reached another milestone with the marine services division receiving ISO 9001 : 2000 accreditation for the safe and efficient passage of vessels entering, moving within and sailing from the port.
Referring to the port’s quality policy statement, NPA corporate affairs manager Andreas Gumede says: “We will control and continually improve our activities through the application and maintenance of a quality system complying with the requirements of ISO 9000 : 2000. All employees are required to support this policy and work in accordance with the quality system procedures and work instructions.”
